A Hypnosis Horror Story

A few weeks ago I got an email from a woman who read my book “Mind Control Hypnosis” and wanted to testify that she was exploited by a hypnotist.
It seems the hypnotist used all the powerful tools of therapy, persuasion and hypnosis that I mention in Mind Control Hypnosis except he used them to exploit her for his own reasons. She reported that she finally withdrew herself from the relationship but could not regain her feelings of interest and passion and felt indifferent to him.
The exchange between us was nothing more than a few emails and she permitted me to share her story. I promised to keep her identity anonymous so I’ll call her Ann.
I suggested to Ann that it seems as though he might have used the dreaded “hypnotic seal” to prevent anything he did to her from coming to her conscious awareness.
Ann’s Email:
So, how do I do this?? I tell myself that the seal is broken?Wow - just tell me how to do it. I want so badly to mentally get away from his influence. So I decide to undo this awake or through hypnosis? I read about the hypnotic seals a while ago in your book. I’ll re-read it. Maybe if I could get angry it would help me heal.
My Reply:
Re-read the portion of my book on the hypnotic seal.
This may be harder to do without a hypnotist to guide you but I believe it can be done.
Do your own hypnosis process… imagine him saying those words “Look at ME” and then go into your trance. Now, imagine him telling you “All my influence is lifted and has no further effect on you. ALL MY INFLUENCE IS LIFTED AND HAS NO FURTHER EFFECT ON YOU.”
Imagine him repeating it until you feel the result. You may feel lighter and unburdened or you may feel angry… I don’t know but it will have a feeling to it and you will know it when it happens.
See it. Hear it and repeat it until you feel it. Believe it to be true just like any other hypnosis session.
You will know it works when YOU can say to him “All your influence is gone. You have no effect on me.” and mean it.
It is up to you and I feel confident you can do it.

A few days past and I received this email from Ann:
I wanted to get back to you and let you know what happened. I did the hypnosis process (just as you suggested) and went into trance. I took myself down to a state of deep relaxation. I followed the procedure and imagined him telling me, “All my influence is lifted and has no further effect on you.” I willed it with all my being. I did it over and over until I fell asleep. Then I had this very vivid dream.In the dream, I somehow got into his mind (or soul?) I was a moving, vibrating, form, and he was too! I had so many questions - then all of a sudden I somehow merged with his form. I instantly felt intense emotional pain, so intense, I started to cry, and I quickly jumped out. I was reading his thoughts. It was so dark and so painful and in the dream he was thinking, “all women are whores who live in different houses!” And then I felt his pain of someone he loved in the past and she left him. In his mind he was trying to prove that given the right circumstances, all women will eventually leave. He kept playing the whole scenario over and over in his mind. It was pure torture. Then I woke up. It was about 3:30AM.
I couldn’t sleep the rest of the night.
I’m embarrassed to tell you I cried and cried. But after the initial shock, I realized that for the first time in months, I actually had deep feelings again! So even though I was sad, in a weird way I was happy that I got my feelings back. Also, when I woke up, I felt distanced from him. The obsessive thoughts about him were gone.
I think it really helped to talk with you about it. I believe I had actually started to heal after reading your E-mails.
I don’t know if the dream was real, but in my heart I believe it was.
I’ve felt better ever since. I had to get through all the emotions before I could write you about it. Now I’m taking your suggestion to do what benefits me, not him. I have feelings of both sadness and anger. But the best part is DISTANCE. I had lost interest in everyone and everything around me. It was frightening, and I didn’t know how to get my feelings back .
