(Local hypnotists) The Learn Self Hypnosis Online Guide

By John Hubert

For anyone that’s trying to learn self hypnosis online, the amount of texts, ebooks, videos and various publications can at times seems a little overwhelming. Where do I start? Does it really work? Is it safe? These are common questions that people looking into self hypnosis may often ask.

The answer is, is that yes, self hypnosis does work, and yes, it is safe. Now in terms of actually learning self hypnosis, there really isn’t any great amount of texts or ebooks that you need to study thankfully, in fact, the process can be learned within the space of just a few minutes, which I shall teach you now.

All you need to do in order to enter into a trance (which is the state of hypnosis where you become hyper-suggestible), is to imagine yourself walking down a flight of stairs. Imagine that there are twenty or so steps, and as you walk down each step, you feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed, and more in tune with your subconscious. As you near the last step, say to yourself that when you step into the nothingness on the last step, you’ll be entering into your subconscious. And as you make this final step, you’ll feel your mind now become completely relaxed, and open to suggestion.

When you’re in this relaxed state, you can make positive suggestions to yourself. Make these suggestions whatever you wish. You make choose to tell yourself that you will feel more confident in general, or you may give yourself suggestions to overcome a specific phobia. Don’t make the suggestions too complex or long winded, as the subconscious is best at picking up short keywords and phrases. Repeat these suggestions to yourself a few times, and then allow them to seep deeply into your subconscious and become a fundamental part of the way you behave.

Once you’ve done that, simply imagine yourself walking back up the steps again, and as you approach the last step, imagine that you will become aware of your surroundings once again, and be fully alert and wide awake. And sure enough, as you take that step, you come out of the hypnotic trance.

Believe it or not, but what was explained above is essentially all self hypnosis is. You guide yourself into a state of trance, where you make certain suggestions, before you finally wake yourself out of hypnosis. These suggestions will have an effect on the way you think and behave in every day life, even if you’re not consciously aware of them. This is because the suggestions will be stemming from your subconscious, which is the level of your mind that you were communicating with when you were in hypnosis.

I hope you found this online guide on how to learn self hypnosis to be useful, know that if you apply the principles of self hypnosis as required, you will be able to learn and use this unique technique to help overcome a number of fears and phobias.

So You Want to Learn Stage Hypnosis
By John Hubert

Stage hypnosis is an entertaining and most enticing thing that a myriad of people watch and enjoy each and every day all around the world. Spectacular feats can be displayed during the course of a stage hypnosis show, and it can leave many people in awe and wanting to learn stage hypnosis for themselves.

To understanding how stage hypnosis works, it’s important to understand just how the subconscious works and how it receives, processes and stores information. You see our subconscious is quite different to our conscious mind. Our subconscious takes on board new ideas and acts upon them in many unique and varied ways.

The way the processing of information works is still somewhat of a mystery, however we do know that when someone has an overload of what are known as ‘message units’, that their mind enters into an overloaded state and then into a trance. This means that the person’s conscious mind has been bypassed, and their subconscious mind has taken over. When our critical mind is in charge of things we’re more likely to reject new ideas and suggestions, however when it’s been effectively shut down, as such is the case when we’re in a trance, then it leaves our subconscious open to just about any suggestion that comes its way.

Now this is how the stage hypnotist plays their trade perfectly, as they want to overload a person with message units until they become receptive to their suggestions, in which case the person will be willing to do just about anything that the stage hypnotist has to say. When you, as the stage hypnosis, give a certain command to a volunteer in the audience who comes up on stage, they should be so overloaded with critical message units by the time of the actual show that they’ll instantly fall into hypnosis when they receive your command.

This is quite an amazing thing, and many people misinterpret it as meaning that the stage hypnotist simply clicks his fingers on any random person, causing them to instantly fall into a hypnotic state. The important thing to understand is that the stage hypnotist isn’t quite simply walking up to anybody and causing them to fall into hypnosis, those people have been rather carefully preconditioned when the hypnotist was conducting forms of hypnosis on the entire audience. During this time, the hypnotist was keeping an ever watchful eye on certain audience members to try and ascertain just which ones exactly were most receptive to suggestion than others.

So if you want to learn stage hypnosis, you must understand this concept. You need to prescreen members of the audience whilst you’re conducting certain feats of hypnotism for the entire crowd to enjoy. Whilst the crowd might think this is just a little innocent fun to get things started, it’s actual a crucial and required part of the show for you that you can use to try and find out who is going to be hypnotized and who isn’t. You’re not going to want to pick just any random person who isn’t going to fall into hypnosis, so make sure you pick the right audience members.
